Privacy

NoBS Video Downloader is a local desktop application. It is built to do its job and stay out of your business.

What it does NOT do

• No telemetry or analytics. The app does not track you, profile you, or phone home.
• No accounts. There is no sign-up and no user data collected by the author.
• No ads.

What it does

• Connects only to the websites/services for the URLs you provide (and their media servers/CDNs) in order to download the media you request.
• Saves downloaded files to the folder you choose, on your computer.
• If you supply a cookies.txt for login/age-gated sites, it is read locally and used only for those download requests. It is never uploaded anywhere by this app. Keep that file private — it contains your login session.

Third-party services

When you download from a site, that site’s own privacy policy and terms apply to your interaction with it. This app has no control over third-party services.
